We have just finished our Skype meeting about analysis and synthesis. Thank you Maria, this was very informative. Thank you everyone for your input on my topic, it was extremely helpful. I'm now going to go away and look at more literature including 'Dancers talking dance' and try to find some patterns to start triangulating data. I intend to use my field work opinions as a bonus and concentrate more on the patterns found in my literature, I will now also start to look at the patterns in the silences, where no literature is found. This was a very interesting topic as I'd never thought that people not talking about something was as eye opening as lots of people talking about the same subject. There was an interesting point made about how different countries perceive audiences and also how audience members in different countries perceive performance. I thought I'd write a little post on my thoughts after my feedback from Module 2. As I await the results from my last module, I was left not feeling all that confident of the things I have achieved so far. My feedback from module 2, left me thinking about what I have learnt so far during this MA journey. The first and main point was that I need to have a bit more confidence in my own abilities, after all, I started this course having never written an essay with references. I am now able to use my past professional experiences and relate and incorporate them into my work. I have written my first ever short literature review and I now enjoy searching for articles and books that relate to my subject and like to hear differences of opinions. I am now able to distinguish between useful points and multiple points that I cannot develop.  I can now formulate my idea into a discussion instead of having lots of ideas that have no depth, so therefore I do not lose my way as much.
